Tensiometer
Tensiometers are used for the determination of soil water tension. The measurement of soil water tension is effected by diaphragm (ceramic cup of the tensiometer) owing to the pressure compensation between the tensiometer liquid and the surrounding soil. The tensiometer liquid functions as transmitter of the soil water tension to the pressure transmitter. The offered tensiometers with pressure transmitter show the following common properties:
- Refilling in the build-in position, tensiometer-standard only with option refill equipment
- Pressure transmitter with stainless steel membrane, accuracy (lin., hyst., repr.) 0,5 %
- Integrated measuring amplifier (therewith directly connectable with the data logger)
- Power supply 7 V - 14 V DC
- Output signal linear: 0 mbar soil water tension 1.5 V/1,000 mbar swt 0.5 V/1.000 mbar overpressure 2.5 V
- Air pressure compensation via cable
